So, this might be a question in your mind . What am I shifting and why am I doing this ? So the asnwer is simple and straight. I live in an owned home so I will not be shifting that one but the thing I was talking about was the domain and hosting shifting thing. If you have a good amount of downtime with your host then what would you prefer , Continuing with the host or shifting to a new host with good amount of support and backup.
The same did happen with me. I bought a cheap hosting from Digital Point Forums and as expected I got frequet downtimes and that did result in my site loosing traffic and in turn the sales as well. After understanding all these factors I asked for that person to refund me as it was not one month but he did not give me refund and he said your site was exploiting shared usage, so I shifted my website to Hostgator and for the first month I have to pay only $0.01 which is almost nothing and it is reliable as well. Since then I have experienced no downtime as such and no problems.
