Does Online Shopping Make you happy ?

As we say in Hindi ” Laakh take ki baat hai ” and in English it means ” Value of the word is a million”, I would like to ask you people are you happy shopping online and getting the things at your home the way you have thought of. Now as far as I am concerned , Some times I feel happy for the thing I purchased and sometimes I do not. As in the case of Micro SD card I purchased from Fabmall.in , It was a terrible experience while when I did online shopping from HomeShop18.com , I was satisfied with the performance and even the delivery of the goods. Till today I have got many items from them and each time I got the same result.

Now in all the cases, the money was somewhat less than thousand rupees or may be around that and one or two time it was more than that as well but then I was pretty much sure that I will get the Item delivered at my doorstep in some days. As you all know that I am in a process of making a decision for my first laptop and should it be Dell. I have taken advices of numerous people whom I know personally and also from those who deal in PC market and laptop market that going in for Dell would be wise choice but it does not convince me as of know because I have never felt like giving money before and expecting the goods at least a week after the payment as is in the case of Dell.

Even talking to strangers via emails suggest that Dell is reputed company and would not do any kind of activity like Fabmall.in did to me. But while talking to the CCE , Mohd Ameer from Dell he sent me a document on my email stating that the I can transfer the amount to their CITIBANK account in Bangalore , I do not have any problems in that , I have enough budget for my laptop but I am sort of afraid of Phishing thing but even then Can I trust a person whom I have never met , just had a conversation of 19 minutes and nothing else. Even I do not remember his voice now. I guess I should have recorded the conversation so that I could have the proof of the talk but I do not have a call recorder in my Phone (N73 Music Edition ).

So , I guess I would be waiting for my father to get back home and then I would love to talk to him for this online shopping and for the most expensive item I will ever buy with my money. Wish me luck
