Easier Said than Cooked

Last month I was all alone at my home as my family members went to our village to attend to some family matters. Now I was all alone for one week and I had to take care of myself and my home. I had to cook for myself (which was not a problem) and then eat my own cooked food (which obviously was a big problem). I had to also maintain the sanity of the house as well.

My cooking skills only allowed three or four of my dishes to end up in the decent criteria otherwise most of my cooking experiments have been a total disaster. This time, however, my mother had given me special instructions on how to cut and cook the vegetables. So, I went to the market and bought some fresh vegetables and used one of the Shun knives available in our home to cut the vegetables.

Probably it was my luck or probably it was my Le Creuset cookware set that helped me make something out of them. The food turned out to be semi delicious and very close to being in the decent category.

However by the end of the week, most of the things that I cooked did make it through the decent category.
