One Thought

It;s been quite a while since I have written some posts about myself on this blog and the main reason behind this was my schedule. I have been following a very tight schedule and was not getting any time for my blog, even though in some spare time I did come to see what is happening in the blogosphere even that was not enough. So, today I have got myself relieved of the work which I was after and so I am writing about the holidays and weekend that is going to follow.

I would be going to one of my friends  in Delhi and this is what I will be enjoying this weekend. I will be meeting my girlfriend as well who lives in Delhi and would be enjoying some time with her as well. So the basic funda of this whole week end and the holidays is to travel and go to enjoy the views and news of Delhi.

So, as I will be going tommorow I will be writing some drafts today which will be published automatically after I am gone to Delhi. My train will leave my city tommorow evening at 10 and by that train I will be reaching to Ghaziabad by 6 am and then I will be taking bus to Greater Noida where I will meet one of relatives on the way and then I will move on to Delhi to be with my love and my friends as well.

So, after all the process of searching laptops and their distributors and looking for all the good things and bad things in the laptops , I have finally purchased a Laptop. It is Acer 5920 series laptop with 1.83Ghz,160Gb Hard Disk, 2Gb RAM, and oh yes it’s worth mentioning that I got Linux installed on this laptop which I had to format. Now,after formatting , I got hold of Windows Vista DVD and a Windows XP CD. I installed both Windows Xp and Vista on the Laptop.

Now some of the people look for either of two operating systems but to my luck I got both installed. Now would you ask who did the install for me, Actually I did all the things myself , right from deleting the partition of linux and then creating partitions and then installing Windows Xp and Vista myself. Now I can say that after being a proud owner of a laptop, I feel like I am in heaven. and yes today I got a WiFi radio signal in my Laptop. It connected to Internet and I got the hold of IP address , it was 117.XXX.XXX.XXX the IP address from BSNL over the WiFi router provided from them.

So, I would keep you all updated on the stats and performance of the Laptop in the course of time.

I think I have not mentioned it before but , yes I did work as an office employee for about three and half month but due to some problems I had to resign from the job. . As of now I am jobless again but would surely likely to work for a company even though the salary does not matter but yes it should be somewhat respectable as well. So I was telling you about my first job.

The job was to work at Call Center as a CCE , and attend the calls and answer them with a particular solution , I never did have any such thoughts to go into job but eventually one day my friend did ask me whether I had to work or not and then we went for the job interview and got the job.

Salary was not decent enough to keep us happy , even though it was nice as compared to the city we were living. But now I am jobless Blogger (Earning much more than my friend who is stuck in the same job but other company) . What is your job like and are you satisfied with it or not ?

Firefox is not an unknown word to anybody. It is the famous browser which has challenged the dominance of internet explorer within 5 years of its launch. It now enjoys a considerable 17.76 % of web browser usage and is second only to IE which enjoys about 76 % of web browser usage.

Its best feature, because of which people took it hand in hand, was tabbed browsing as people had to no longer start a new window every time they wanted to browse through another website. It also has features like spell checker, live bookmarking and more than 2000 add-ons like No Script, Adblock Plus etc responsible for different functions. It runs on all the latest operating systems and is absolutely free to download and use.

Its latest version is beta 3.05 which is still under revision as it is not very compatible with different add-ons.The story behind the naming of Firefox is also very interesting. It was originally named as Phoenix (phoenix technologies raised trademark issue), then Firebird (this time they had issues with firebird database software project), then it was named Mozilla firebird but the FDSP again revolted and so it was finally named as Mozilla Firefox. I have a brother and he is studying at present and looking into the recent trends , it is quite obvious I would have to get him a laptop sooner or later. If it is early then it is too good because of very simple reasons that if he tries to operate laptop before any sort of business Education then he can easily adapt to changes and that’s why I asked him about the laptop he wanted. He said he wanted a laptop which should have a inbuilt wi-fi and other technical specifications which I could not understand.

I got a laptop but due to my brother’s studies we need to get the second one in house with the above features and this time we are looking for good quality and durability type of laptop. Rest all depends upon him to look for and get one decent laptop.

In this materialistic world , most of us look what is outside on the cover instead of inside package. Well, do not be serious I am not talking or writing about something which will go over the head, all I am writing is that today people look at the packaging rather than content. So when you want to sell a product you make it colorful.
